Millicent Holliday, R.N., C.T.N., Certified BEA Practitioner
Ms. Holliday graduated in 1977 from Gray's Training Hospital in South Africa as a Registered Nurse. She travelled extensively throughout the world and worked for seven years as Ship's Nurse on transatlantic sailing vessels. She passed the Georgia State Board of Nursing exam in 1989 and worked for ten years as Charge Nurse and Nurse Administrative Supervisor at a local Atlanta hospital.
In 1999 she acquired her certification as a Traditional Naturopath and since that time has played an active role in the development and clinical application of BioEnergetic Assessment, also known as Electro Acupuncture. In early 2002 she founded Quintessential Health Care, Inc. and has a thriving practice located in Norcross, Georgia.
Ms. Holliday has been instrumental in the pioneering of numerous critical health areas, with much of her focus being on dental issues, infertility issues and childhood conditions such as ADD/ADHD/PDD, autism and other neuro-developmental concerns. She has taught and lectured extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad and has addressed such prestigious organizations as the American College for the Advancement of Medicine, the Energetix College of Bio-Energetic Medicine, the Family Building Conference of Atlanta, the Consortium for Integrative Care Practitioners of Atlanta and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Janna Jensen , N.C.M.T.
Having received her Bachelor of Arts from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain , Georgia , Janna looked to pursue a profession that would allow her to serve people in a tangible and nurturing way. She chose to study massage at the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts (ASHA) in Norcross , Georgia. In addition to providing neuromuscular and craniosacral massage at Quintessential Health Care, Janna teaches Neuromuscular Therapy at ASHA.
Janna's passion for her work is evident in her distinctive approach to bodywork, which includes client education, postural correction, increased performance and reduction or elimination of pain. She begins each session with a postural analysis, which highlights musculoskeletal imbalances to be addressed in each massage. Janna values being able to help her clients understand and rebalance their own bodies within the context of the practitioner team at Quintessential Health Care.
Anna M. Powers, CNC
Anna Powers, a Certified Nutritional Counselor, specializes in BioEnergetic Assessment (BEA) and NeuroIntegration technology. Anna provides clients with the mentorship, education and/or supplementation needed to reach their health goals and overcome health challenges. Prior to joining the Quintessential Health Care team, Anna spent 10 years as a Clinical Consultant training health care practitioners in the fundamentals of bioenergetic technology, including homeopathy, herbology and detoxification.
Anna now brings her years of expertise to a clinical setting, assisting clients at Quintessential Health Care to achieve the same level of success through a range of programs and services from introductory demonstrations, individual wellness assessments and customized health and wellness programs.
